NORTHERN COASTLINE
DAY TOURS
Caesarea, Haifa, Rosh Hanikrah and Akko
Caesarea, Haifa, Rosh Hanikrah and Akko Tour explores the diversity and beauty of Israel’s northern coastline. A short drive along Israel's northern coastline of the Mediterranean Sea accompanied with beautiful views, and the opportunity to explore some of the country’s most unique sites.
Strategically, this region was extremely important to all ruling empires, as it sat on the famed international trade route between ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. Thousands of years later we are left with a fascinating mosaic of historical locations.
Ceasaria was founded in 22 BC as the seat of the Roman government for Judea for over five hundred years. King Herod the Great build this ancient seaside city and named it in honor of Augustus Caesar. Here stood once an international marvelous port for importing goods.

Half an hour drive u north along the Mediterranean coast would lead you to Haifa. A home to the ‘hanging’ Baha'i Gardens. A spectacular view of the Mediterranean Sea, Haifa's Port and the German Colony.
A short drive to the walled city of Akko, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Where the Greeks, Romans, Ottomans, and Crusaders have all made their mark over the centuries.
This multicultural city is full of winding alleyways and a vibrant Turkish bazaar, full of sweet-smelling pastries and colorful crafts. Akko is one of the oldest cities in the region and one of the longest used ports in the world.
Modern Akko is a mixed city, home to Muslims, Christians and Jews. This epic Crusader city was the main gateway to the holy land for much of the Crusades, and the main goal in the attempted conquest of this land by Napoleon.
Finally, marvel at Rosh Hanikrah, with its beautiful cliffs and grottoes where the Mediterranean meets the mountains.

We have done several tours in different parts of the world, and we have had some amazing tour guides. Moria is by far the best guide we have ever had, and anyone who would be fortunate enough to have her as their guide, would have the best experience available.
